Please join with your fellow GWRRA members from all over New Jersey as we help provide a safe corridor for the bicylists or "ride the route" to help raise funds for this wonderful cause. The most rewarding weeknd of the riding season starts Friday night with foods, snacks, and beverages at the Clarion Convenion Center.
You will be assigned a corner or intersection and will assist the pedal bikes to navigate it safely or you may be asked to ride the route and assist as needed. With 7,000 pedal bikers just waiting to say "Thank You" as they pass your assigned corner or wave to you as you patrol a designated area on your Gold Wing, any other motorcycle, or other vehicle, you will certainly share in a wonderful experience, being part of the M.S. City to Shore Bike Tour. On Saturday and Sunday we help escort the bicycists from Cherry Hill to Ocean City, NJ, and back again on Sunday, as they raise money to help Multiple Sclerosis victims and to help find a cure for this disease. We also have several GWRRA members bicycling in the event.
Hotel rooms are at the Host Hotel - Clarion Hotel & Convention Center-6821 Black Horse Pike-West Atlantic City, NJ 08323. The hotel room on Saturday is provided to you at no cost by the MS Socieity. If a hotel room is needed for Friday night, it is the responsibliity of the volunteer(s) (the Friday night room rate is only $79). Please call 800-782-9237 to make your reservation (be sure to tell them you are with GWRRA and the MS150 and will be staying Saturday night.
You can do this event by either car or motorcycle. Help is needed to cover all intersctions, so don't by shy. More information will be available as the event gets closer.
